Mt. Misery Reflections

I often go for short walks at Mt. Misery after work, since it’s on my way home. (Apparently it’s named for the death of a pair of sheep or oxen there a long time ago - I’ve been going for 20 years and only learned that today!) Last week there were some beautiful reflections in one of the many small ponds there.

I like how the very slight ripples on the water give the tree trunk reflections a sense of movement.

Sometimes I see beavers or turtles in this pond, but I think it has still been too cold for them to be out and about much.
